BENTON SMITH: HAROLD JINKS DEMOCRATIC MAN OF THE YEAR
The 2010 Harold Jinks Democratic Man of the Year Award goes to another well-deserving member of our party, Craighead County’s Benton Smith. Benton currently serves as the chairman of the Craighead County Democratic Central Committee and the legal counsel for the Democratic Party of Arkansas, while also working full-time at his own private practice, Cahoon & Smith, in Jonesboro.

AMANDA RICHARDSON: 2010 JEFFREY LEDBETTER YOUNG DEMOCRAT OF THE YEAR
The 2010 Jeffrey Ledbetter Young Democrat of the Year was awarded to Pulaski County Young Democrat, Amanda Richardson. After spending the last few years as the Assistant to the Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for Governor Mike Beebe, Amanda has recently accepted a position with the Delta Regional Authority.
Amanda grew up in Little Rock, and was a 1999 graduate of Little Rock Central High School. From there, she went on to attend the University of Arkansas, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication.
