LITTLE ROCK— The Democratic Party of Arkansas is releasing the following response to Gov. Sanders Announcement that Arkansas Ranks #1 in Religious Liberty according to First Liberty Institute.
From Arkansas Democrats Chair COL (RET) Marcus Jones said:
“Under republican control, Arkansas ranks near the bottom on every measurable index— 49th in average wages, 49th in healthcare, and 47th in overall educational attainment. So while Democrats absolutely value religious liberty and steadfastly support the First Amendment, and personally I’m an active Methodist, we would much rather see our state government working to promote policies that truly improve the lives of Arkansans.”
