Christina was born in Topeka, Kansas to parents in the Jesus Movement community. She was raised in Oklahoma, Virginia and Texas following dad around to different seminaries and Episcopalian parishes. When she landed at U of A in Fayetteville in 1994, she fell in love with Arkansas. The move to Little Rock in 2000 had her proudly calling Arkansas home. She holds a Sociology degree from the University of Arkansas and cut her teeth as a chapter leader and board member with NOW (National Organization for Women). She worked for Planned Parenthood as the Arkansas Organizer from 2012 to 2019 organizing people, training, managing and leading volunteers in direct voter contact, advocating with other volunteers at the state and national capital for reproductive rights.
In 2019, Christina joined Arkansas Democrats staff as Voter File Manager. In 2022, she stepped into the role of Finance Director overseeing budgets and ensuring bills are paid in compliance with campaign finance law. She is a life-long Episcopalian and a committed Toastmaster. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the natural beauty of Arkansas’ hiking trails, rivers and lakes.

Data and Party Affairs Manager
Austin Ross manages the data and tools Democrats need to organize and win in Arkansas. He began his career in politics as a leader of the Fayetteville High School Young Democrats and a field organizer for the 2014 campaign to raise the minimum wage. After serving as Young Democrats of Arkansas Executive Vice President, he worked to elect progressives to the state legislature in Northwest Arkansas before becoming an organizer and data manager for Planned Parenthood. In his free moments, you can catch Austin binging reality competition shows, spending time with his family in Franklin County, or playing trivia at one of Arkansas’s many fine breweries.

Communications Manager
Micah comes onto our Communications team with a degree in Journalism/Political Science and 10 years of political experience. She was previously the Executive President of the Young Democrats of Arkansas, leading Arkansas to be one of only four states that increased youth voter turnout in 2022. She is passionate about reforming our broken campaign finance system and protecting our public schools. Micah is prepared to do the work to elect Arkansas Democrats across the state. Micah is from Hope, but she now lives in North Little Rock.

State Block Captain Coordinator
Dara comes to our team with degrees in political science and mobilization experience from several statewide campaigns. As the State Block Captain Coordinator, she built the Arkansas Block Captains program and designed programs that train volunteers and educate voters on important issues. Dara’s passion for understanding the political dynamics of communities influences her research and political work, which explores how economic, social, and political capital shape political engagement in the rural South. Dara’s teaching style empowers communities from within, focusing on grassroots leadership and sustainable civic engagement. Dara hails from the Southwest corner of the state but currently calls Northwest Arkansas home.
Fundraising Manager
Sarah Lindsey Harrison is a lifelong Arkansan with over 25 years of experience in political and non-profit fundraising and event planning. She has been with the DPA since late 2021. Her previous experience includes working for Senator Mark Pryor, Senator Blanche Lincoln, Congressman Mike Ross, previous time at the Democratic Party of Arkansas, UA Little Rock, and CARTI among others. She is a graduate of Little Rock Central High and Rhodes College, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Sarah lives with her children in Pulaski County.
